Okay, I have to say this. I do NOT get to go to the Caribbean this summer, or probably not any other summer!! But, for those of you who need a change of scenery, and can get away (and afford it!!), I wanted to pass on that I saw a great article in the New York Times from June 15, 2008, called “Summer in the Caribbean.” I am sure you can find it if you Google it. Reasons to go there this summer?

• Prices are lower
• Temperatures might still be moderate
• The threat of hurricanes might not be a great as you would imagine (oh my!!! LOL)
