Given this era of weird money and a growing awareness of our environments, this couple’s decision struck me as innovative on a number of levels. It responds to the suggestion of “change of Scenery’ as a strategy for being creative or coping with change; it responds to the environmental concerns for sustainability; and it responds to the growing sense of wanting to reconnect with nature, with the Earth, with people, the sense of participating in the community of the world, the growing desire for nurturing spirit and soul rather than amassing more material possessions.
